About Anna
Born and raised in the Greater Seattle area, Anna has been heavily involved in the local music scene as a drummer and vocalist since age eleven. Her style blends rock, pop, funk, R&B and punk. She has a Bachelors of Music in Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Anna has been involved with multiple projects and musical organizations. Her passion for social justice is reflected in not only her personal artistry and years of community service, but also her commercial work, which includes freelance composition and production.
Community Engagement
Anna has a passion for teaching and working with youth.
She worked at Hyde Square Task Force in Jamaica Plain. There she served as drum instructor, band coach and music theory instructor for over 40 students, thanks to Berklee's Community Service Employment Program. This video highlights Anna and her time working at Hyde (0:00-1:43)
In Summer 2021, she was fortunate to have the opportunity to work as the Youth Music Assistant at the Blue Hill Boys and Girls Club in Dorchester, MA.
Since November 2021, Anna has been involved with Seattle JazzED, a youth non-profit organization.
